RedLeaf Receives Funding from Kentucky Agricultural
Development Fund (KADF)
RedLeaf Biologics, Inc. (“RedLeaf”), an agricultural technology company focused on producing high-value botanical extracts from red sorghum biomass, announced today that the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board (KADB) has approved RedLeaf for funding through the Kentucky Agricultural Development Fund(KADF) in the amount of $485K.

Founded in 2015, RedLeaf has worked closely with its local grower network to develop the proprietaryRedNaturalTM sorghum varietal, a non-GMO row crop that produces high-value compounds throughout the leaf biomass.

The KADF disbursement will be used by RedLeaf to support its efforts to expand the planted acreage ofRedNaturalTM sorghum varietal across central Kentucky and continue to build the infrastructure required for large scale harvest and processing of the agricultural product.
